Have you ever read something and had it make an instant impact upon you? I do that rather often, but yesterday, the words I read gave me a clear picture of why I do the things I do, validation I guess.
The quote is from Randy Gage and it goes like this: “I will do today what others will not do, so tomorrow I can do what others cannot do.” Read that again, this time slowly and let the words sink in so that you can get the full impact of what he is saying.
I push myself hard and I am very aware of that. I get pushed back at times, I rest up, get my bearings again and then jump right back into the forward momentum. Why do I do this? It would seem like a silly thing to do for most people, but for me, it is an investment into my future. This future includes my family and the things that I would like to contribute to the world. I DO have big plans.
I see the difference that I can make on a small-scale, if I had the funds to just do what I do, imagine the people that I could help! “I will do today what others will not do, so tomorrow I can do what others cannot do.” My new mantra. I will teach the classes, listen to the groups, be constantly learning and doing. I will see my clients and learn from them. I will continue to give and be all that I can so that in turn, I can move forward and do what others cannot do. It will all come together at some point and I know that it will make a difference.
For now, I will keep doing what others will not do and move forward. Life is really good.
